Chip Retzlaff

Gary (Chip) Retzlaff is a retired U.S. Army aviator with 20 years of military experience and an aviation maintenance background. His assignments included various state-side and overseas duty location and deployments, and he has held a number of leadership positions during his service, including commanding the Army’s Maintenance Test Pilot training program.

Mr. Retzlaff holds an MBA in System Acquisition Management and an FAA Commercial Instrument Pilot rating in Helicopter/ Rotorcraft.

Mr. Retzlaff served for several years as the VP of Business Operations for ASSIST-U.S., supporting the CEO and helping to manage day-to-day operations. Upon retiring from the military, he accepted a consulting position with Universal Solutions International, a Virginia-based defense consulting firm, but continues to serve in an advisory role with ASSIST-U.S.
